I don't think the AAA guys had ever quite seen this in someone's driveway. They could not get the truck past to drag it uphill.
The first attempt was to hook block and tackle to a tree uphill. When they started cranking on the winch, the tree started to bend over. On to plan B.
They extended the boom on the truck and managed to get the truck wheels on the ground.
From here it was easy.
