Roosevelt Lodge sits in the northeast corner of the park not far from Cooke City. Beartooth Highway a great way to get to the area.
Tiny, primitive cabins were comfortable and avoided the congestion at the major resort areas.
And a nice view too.
Rocking chairs on the porch were always popular. A nice place for morning coffee.
Cluster of cabins with shower house. This is not a large lodge and avoids the business of some of the other destination areas..
Rockers were frequently full.
Peter kicking back. I thought we'd get a series of pictures of his sneakers to Vancouver and back.
Small woodstove, one light b ulb and one electrical outlet - a challenge to charge our assorted gear.
