MI UP to Aerostitch 2010

May 19-25. 2590 miles. Peter and I took long weekend trip to Duluth to look at Aerostich electric jacket liner. I picked up a few national park stamps along the way in MI and OH. Serious problem after Sleeping Bear in western MI when my front tire went suddenly flat. It turned out to be bad valve stem. Through some miracle, a nearby man had compressor and hot glue gun - yes he put gobs of hot glue on the stem to get it to stop leaking and then we were back on the road with some general directions but no plan. We found Cycle Moore that the hot glue guy had recommended. Incredibly Steven changed the valve stem without removing the wheel!! It was like magic to me and a relief to be back on the road. We didn't get to Lansing for the night till nearly midnight.
Every day seemed like a long day. Toronto to St Ignace -> Duluth -> St Ignace -> Lansing. Lansing home was much easier in two days with tow national historic…
