Americade 2012

I hadn't been to Americade in several years usually finding better things to do in June. Ken suggested that the three of us go again this year just for the purpose of doing demos. Peter and I went up a few days early to go ziplining at Hunter Mountain - that activity got rained out. We ended up staying with friends near Salem or a couple nights to hide from the rain and then headed over to get registered and meet Ken.
Bright and early standing in Ducati line til we found they didn't have a bike we wanted to demo. We quickly regrouped and got signed up for other rides.
Lots of Harleys with a most curious signup system. The demo was self-guided so when you had a bike and were ready to go, you could just go. Overall demo'd 15…
Waiting for a Harley. At times there was a wait.
First Harley I demo'd,
Must have been lunch time at local microbrewery.
Got gas?
Everything but the kitchen sink.
Unusual mounting for helmet cam.
These guys didn't get service any faster than we did at this breakfast place. Very rude hostess.
