Even thought eh shuttle launch had cancelled, my ticket was still good for a day touring the facilities at Kennedy Space Center. Interesting day with a lot of things to do and see. I was very impressed by what it takes to get the shuttle up - what a huge team effort this is.

The Shuttle Launch Experience is a reality ride that simulates the launch with terrific vibration and g-forces. Good ride at least once.

T-38 used as transportation for astronauts and chase vehicle during landing. This was primary jet trainer when I went through pilot training.
