When I could not make the STO NC trip, this was the alternative. Peter and I biked to Parkersburg WV to meet Ken coming back from NC.
Hocking Hills on Monday with Ken and Peter.
Then Ken and I headed east on Wednesday as originally planned.
After day in Hocking Hills, Peter's bike was backed into by a AAA tow truck at gas pump.
Kickstand pushed backwards on pavement....
...until it broke. No sidestand, no shifter. It broke the frame.
Ken got tow-truck through AMA.
Luckily a small BMW shop was only 5 miles away.
Owner trying to get GPS mount off the bike.
Peter rode with Ken back to hotel.
Ken takes me to get rental car so we could deal with bike and get Peter to airport.
Peter bought large suitcase at Walmart and packed one sidecase and almost all his gear in it to take as checked luggage. Ken and I brought the other sidecase…
